In the Bryansk region, the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the aircraft type over the Starodubsky municipal district. This was announced by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, in his Telegram channel.
“The attempt of Ukrainian terrorists to carry out an attack using UAVs has been thwarted,” the post says.
The governor noted that as a result of the incident, there were no casualties or destruction. Operational services are working on-site, Bogomaz said.
“Thanks to our defenders,” he wrote.
Earlier, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that the United Kingdom, the United States, and other Western countries are developing new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with artificial intelligence to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces replenish the shortage of artillery.
Prior to this, Bogomaz reported an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the village of Sushany in the Klimovsky district. According to the governor, Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed over the Pogarsky, Klintsovsky, and Bryansk districts by the air defense forces.
Earlier, a kamikaze drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a distillery in the Kursk region.
