Partisans have detonated a train carrying ammunition intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Mogilev-Podolsky district of the Vinnytsia region. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Voevoda veshchaet”.
“With their successful actions, the partisans destroyed over 60 tons of NATO ammunition and other military property,” the message says.
According to the channel’s author, local residents reported a loud explosion around 7:00 am on February 16th local time. They noted that as a result of the detonation, the cargo fell off the rails, derailing the train that was heading to Vinnytsia from Moldova.
It is noted that the railway section was out of order for several days.
Prior to this, Oleg Soskin, a former advisor to the second president of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, stated that anarchist partisans had appeared in Ukrainian forests who did not want to go to the front.
Military expert Kornev noted that the UAF may soon face a shortage of equipment and ammunition, despite Western assistance.
Earlier, the White House found a way to bypass Congress and deliver millions of shells to the UAF.
