In a significant development, the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet’s Naval Infantry has successfully seized a vital stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the Southern Donetsk front. This information has been reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Russian marine infantry troops, equipped with military vehicles, advanced towards the fortified enemy positions located in a wooded area. A fierce battle erupted as they approached the UAF positions. The assault groups simultaneously attacked the enemy from multiple directions and secured one of the key defense positions, thereby allowing Russian forces to improve their position and establish control over the dominant height.
The actions of the assault groups were coordinated from the air by reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles. During the assault, Russian marine infantry troops eliminated up to ten enemy soldiers.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian Su-25 attack aircraft conducted strikes on UAF strongholds and personnel in the Donetsk direction.
Additionally, Russian designers have recently unveiled the “Stepashka” anti-drone rifle, further showcasing their technological advancements in the field of counter-drone capabilities.
