In a recent disclosure, a Russian military serviceman from the psychological operations unit, codenamed “Grandfather,” has revealed the tactics employed by Russia to undermine the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) through the use of sound broadcasting. “We engage in undermining the enemy’s psychological state by broadcasting various sounds,” he stated.
Another military personnel shared that a funeral march was broadcasted on the Izium direction. He explained that they would drive into the forest and, in the middle of the night, transmit the funeral march mixed with the sounds of children crying and women screaming. These sounds were intended to demoralize the UAF troops.
On January 28, British military analyst Alexander Mercouris claimed that the Russian Armed Forces eliminate over 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen per day due to their active defense operations.
Addressing the increasing number of Russian troops, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu emphasized the need to strengthen the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC).
Furthermore, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, expressed the opinion that Western countries acknowledging the alleged threat from Russia to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) signifies the impending victory of the Russian Armed Forces in the conflict with Ukraine.
Previously, a Ukrainian military official admitted that new recruits in the UAF are only being trained in alcoholism.
