Explosions Reported in Western Ukraine Amid Ongoing Attacks from Russian Forces

In the early hours of the morning, explosions were reported in the Rivne region of western Ukraine. This information was brought to light by the Ukrainian publication “Zerkalo Nedeli” (Mirror of the Week).

At present, there are no details available regarding the explosions, and local authorities have refrained from providing any comments on the matter.

Air raid sirens have been activated in the Volyn, Mykolaiv, Rivne, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions of the country.

Prior to this incident, Kremenchuk, a city in Ukraine, experienced similar explosions. According to information received from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), Russian missiles were launched towards Kremenchuk. Subsequently, the city witnessed these explosions.

Based on available data, the Russian Armed Forces initiated attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure starting from October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist act on the Crimean Bridge. According to Russian authorities, this act was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence services. The attacks target various sectors, including energy, defense industries, military command, and communication systems throughout the country. Since then, air raid sirens have been sounded daily in different regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory.

Previously, a worker was injured during a drone attack in the Belgorod region.
