New Explosions Reported in Western Ukraine, Russian Attacks Continue

New explosions have occurred in the Rivne region of western Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian publication “Mirror of the Week.” Details about the incidents are currently unavailable, as local authorities have not yet commented on the situation.

At present, an air alarm has been declared in the Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil, and Khmelnytsky regions of Ukraine.

On January 29, it was reported that explosions had been heard in the Rivne region.

The day before, the Ukrainian publication “Strana” reported explosions in the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region of Ukraine.

According to information obtained from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Russian rockets were launched towards Kremenchuk, followed by explosions in the city.

Since October 10, 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have been launching attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. These attacks began just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. The targets of these attacks include energy facilities, defense industries, military command centers, and communication systems across the country. As a result, air alarms have been issued daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.

Earlier, the AFU complained about the “tactics” used by the Russian army.
