Explosions rock Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk as Russian missiles hit

In the city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region of Ukraine, a series of explosions have occurred, reportedly caused by Russian missiles. This news comes from the Ukrainian publication “Strana”.

According to information received from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), Russian missiles were launched towards Kremenchuk, followed by explosions in the city. Local authorities had previously reported an unidentified industrial facility being hit and catching fire in Kremenchuk.

Furthermore, the explosions were also heard in the regional center, Poltava. Reports have also emerged about an air raid alert being issued in Kyiv.

Shortly before this, air raid alerts were declared in 11 regions of Ukraine, including the Poltava and Kharkiv regions. The Russian Armed Forces have been conducting strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities claim was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. These attacks have targeted energy facilities, defense industries, military command centers, and communication systems throughout the country. Since then, air raid alerts have been issued daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Kuleba, expressed his confusion regarding the conditions that Kyiv needs to fulfill in order to join NATO.
