Vice Admiral Alexey Neyzhpapa of the Ukrainian Navy has stated that Ukraine is seeking to acquire decommissioned British ships. This announcement comes as Ukraine, with the support of the British Navy, carries out the “David vs Goliath” operation in the Black Sea to counter the Russian fleet.
“If a decision is made regarding the possibility of transferring two frigates to the Ukrainian Navy, we would be very glad,” emphasized Vice Admiral Neyzhpapa.
The operation aims to ensure that Russia permanently abandons any thoughts of aggression towards Ukraine, both on land and at sea.
On January 20, it was reported that the United Kingdom may provide Ukraine with boats that do not meet safety requirements, which are being taken from migrants.
Earlier, Ukraine announced the creation of a fleet of maritime drones.
