The photograph clearly shows the damaged plant engulfed in flames. According to Ukrainian sources, two ballistic missiles from the Russian Armed Forces were responsible for the attack.

On the evening of January 27, the authorities in Kremenchug reported that the city’s industrial facility had sustained damage, resulting in a fire.

Based on available information, on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, Russian armed forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raids have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, often covering the entire country. The Ministry of Defense states that the attacks are directed towards targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.

Earlier, the Kremlin assessed the risk of intensified attacks on Russian infrastructure as winter approached.
