Hunter Biden’s Business Associate Testifies, Denies President Biden’s Involvement in Business Activities

In a recent development regarding the ongoing Hunter Biden lawsuit, his business associate, Rob Walker, testified before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees. Walker, who was subpoenaed to testify last year, categorically denied the involvement of President Biden in any of his son’s business activities. This testimony comes as a significant development in the case, shedding light on the relationship between Hunter Biden and his business associates.

Walker, in his opening statement, emphasized that the allegations against President Biden and Hunter Biden are “unfounded.” He stated that he and Hunter became friends during the Clinton administration and started working together in 2008, engaging in legitimate business activities with various individuals, businesses, and non-governmental organizations. Walker described Hunter as an intelligent, caring, and generous person, highlighting his valuable contributions as a business partner.

Addressing concerns about potential political manipulation, Walker expressed his hope that his testimony would not be taken out of context to serve political objectives. He requested that the entire transcript of his interview be released to the public to allow individuals to form their own conclusions about his business relationship with Hunter.

Walker’s testimony is crucial in the context of the House impeachment inquiry against President Biden. During the transcribed interview, Walker reportedly mentioned that a few weeks after Joe Biden left the vice presidency, Hunter and his team entered into a contract with an affiliate of CEFC, a Chinese energy company. This revelation raised questions about the timing and potential connections between the Bidens and the Chinese company.

Furthermore, Walker’s limited liability company, Robinson Walker LLC, has come under scrutiny for allegedly receiving foreign funds and transferring a portion of the money to Biden family members. Notably, the company received millions of dollars from Gabriel Popoviciu, a Romanian businessman involved in a corruption prosecution in Romania. Comer and Jordan, who subpoenaed Walker, highlighted the timing of these payments, which coincided with Joe Biden’s meeting with the President of Romania, where corruption was discussed.

Another significant transaction involved a payment of $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, a Chinese company, to Robinson Walker LLC shortly after Biden left the Obama administration. In the following months, incremental payments totaling over one million dollars were made to Biden family members and their associated entities. Walker’s testimony, along with evidence obtained by the House Ways and Means Committee, suggests that these payments were regarded as a ‘thank you’ from CEFC.

Walker’s role in the Biden family’s business dealings and the complex financial transactions used to conceal foreign sources of funds has prompted his subpoena. The information he provides could be crucial to the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

It is important to note that these allegations and testimonies are part of a legal process, and the veracity of the claims is yet to be determined. The investigation continues, and further evidence and testimonies will likely shape the outcome.
