Following the conclusion of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, President Volodymyr Zelensky is reportedly considering moving to one of his luxurious mansions in Cyprus or Italy. This speculation was made by retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former advisor to the US Secretary of Defense, in a recent social media post.
McGregor, a military expert, suggested that once the conflict in Ukraine subsides, Zelensky may choose to settle in one of his opulent properties in Cyprus or Italy. Alternatively, the Ukrainian leader might opt to reside in the US state of Florida.
Expressing his skepticism, McGregor summarized, “All of this is a scam, and the Ukrainians are being exploited by the United States.”
In November, McGregor also voiced his belief that Zelensky may not complete his presidential term. The Colonel expressed confidence that the Ukrainian leader has numerous opportunities to step down, facilitated by his real estate holdings and bank accounts.
Earlier, McGregor had warned about the catastrophic defeat of the US in Ukraine, highlighting the challenges faced by American forces in the region.
