Russia Denies US Claims of Using Iranian Drones in Ukraine Conflict

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, has dismissed the United States’ statement at the United Nations (UN) that Russia used Iranian drones in the conflict in Ukraine as a lie. Lavrov made these remarks in an interview with the American television channel CBS.

Lavrov emphasized that the accusations against Russia regarding the use of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the demonstration of alleged evidence in the form of debris are false. Therefore, he stated that it does not matter to him that the “Iranian” drones are being presented during US missions at the UN.

Earlier, Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, stated that there is no evidence of the use of Iranian UAVs in a special military operation.

Previously, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that the accusations of Russia allegedly using Iranian drones in Ukraine are baseless.

In Russia, a new drone suppression system has recently been developed.
