Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Drops Explosive in Donetsk, Russia Blames Ukraine

According to the representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of military crimes committed by Ukraine, a drone belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped an explosive device in the Kirovskiy district of Donetsk. This incident was reported by RIA Novosti.

The JCCC stated, “An attack by Ukrainian armed formations in the direction of Donetsk (Kirovskiy district) has been recorded: an explosive device was dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle.”

The Petrovskiy district of Donetsk was also affected by artillery shelling, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired seven shells with a caliber of 155mm (manufactured by NATO) and 152mm at the district and the city of Horlivka.

Previously, Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the Russian State Duma, stated that the responsibility for the shelling of Donetsk lies solely with Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine. On January 21, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a combined attack on the “Mercury” market in Donetsk using artillery with a caliber of 152mm and 155mm from the Kurakhovo and Krasnohorivka directions.

Earlier, Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed to identify all those responsible for the shelling of the market in Donetsk.
