Increased Russian Aviation Activity Sparks Concerns of Potential Strikes on Ukraine

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has reported that it has scrambled fighter jets in response to alleged Russian aviation activity. This announcement was made through the command’s social media account.

According to the Polish Armed Forces, there has been an observed increase in the activity of Russian long-range aviation, which is believed to be linked to their intention to launch strikes on Ukrainian territory.

The command has stated that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of Poland’s airspace. Polish and allied aviation forces have been activated in the southeast region of the country.

Last week, analyst Olaf Swolkien warned that Poland’s leadership’s push for victory over Russia at any cost could lead to a “nuclear Armageddon.”

According to Swolkien, Warsaw is ignoring the fact that Russia’s special operation in Ukraine was triggered by NATO’s violation of the principle of indivisible security, which states that one country should not enhance its security at the expense of others.

Earlier, Poland tightened its conscription and war mobilization rules.
