Nikki Haley Predicts High Turnout in New Hampshire GOP Primary, Takes Aim at Trump

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is confident about a strong turnout in the upcoming GOP primary in New Hampshire. Despite trailing former President Trump by double digits in recent surveys, Haley remains optimistic and is taking every opportunity to criticize the frontrunner. She pointed to the low turnout in Iowa, where Trump secured a victory with only 56,000 votes in a state with a population of three million. Haley believes that New Hampshire will have a much higher turnout and intends to capitalize on it.

During her campaign stops, Haley has been vocal about Trump’s role in GOP losses in past election cycles. She emphasized that Trump was responsible for losing the House, the Senate, and the White House. Trump, in response, called Haley a “disaster” and made various accusations against her. Haley fired back, accusing Trump of lying and claimed that he “knows we’re a threat” and is “throwing temper tantrums.”

Haley’s campaign has also released a video featuring past clips of Trump praising her. In addition, a super PAC aligned with Haley, SFA Fund Inc., has spent over $6 million on TV ads and mobile billboards targeting Trump. The super PAC aims to highlight the “chaos and drama” surrounding Trump and paint him as a liar.

Haley is receiving support from Republican Governor Chris Sununu, who has endorsed her and joined her on the campaign trail. Sununu has long been critical of Trump and is serving as Haley’s surrogate and adviser in the state.

Haley has been actively criticizing Trump on social media as well. In response to Trump’s false claim that Democrats could vote in the New Hampshire Republican primary, Haley clarified that this was not the case. The Trump campaign, on the other hand, highlighted Haley’s third place finish in Iowa and accused her of using money from Democrat donors and appealing to Democrat voters.

Despite the attacks on Trump, Haley faces a significant challenge in closing the gap with the former president. The latest polls show her down by 17 points to Trump in New Hampshire. However, Haley is determined and has intensified her campaign efforts, making multiple stops in the closing days before the primary.

Haley and her team believe that personal interactions and engaging with voters are crucial to their success. They are focused on ensuring that people know they have a choice and encouraging participation in the primary. With a favorable weather forecast for primary day, Haley is optimistic about a good turnout and remains confident in her chances.
