Governor Alexander Bogomaz of the Bryansk region announced in his Telegram channel that there was an attempted attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) using the tactical missile system “Tochka-U” in the Surazh district. However, thanks to the vigilant air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the airborne target was intercepted and destroyed.
Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
One residential building was partially damaged, and the windows of an industrial facility were also partially shattered, added the regional leader.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that two “Tochka-U” tactical missiles were destroyed, and three Ukrainian drones were intercepted over the territory of the Bryansk region.
Prior to this, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region announced that a missile alert had been declared in the cities of Belgorod and Valuyki.
