At the World Economic Forum in Davos, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced that the Western coalition, led by the United States, is expanding the scope of its support for Ukraine’s Armed Forces (UAF). Sullivan highlighted the efforts of the White House to secure bipartisan support in order to provide the necessary resources for arms supplies to Ukraine. He also mentioned that Washington is strengthening its own military-industrial base to limit Russia’s access to crucial resources that are necessary for Russia to do the same.
This announcement follows US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s assurance to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Washington will continue its support for Kiev, despite ongoing financial challenges.
Previously, President Zelensky criticized the West at the Davos forum for its handling of the situation.
