Increase in Western Armored Vehicles in the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kupiansk

Military expert and retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR), Andriy Marochko, has reported an increase in the number of Western armored vehicles in the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kupiansk. This information was relayed by RIA Novosti.

Marochko stated, “During the hostilities in the areas of Sin’kovka, Petropavlivka, and Peschane, an increase in the use of Western armored vehicles by Ukrainian armed formations has been observed.”

According to him, German Leopard tanks are the least noticeable in this area, but there has been a noticeable increase in the number of American BMP Bradley and M113 armored transporters, as well as Swedish-produced CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.

Previously, positions of the enemy were captured and Ukrainian soldiers were taken prisoner by the assault unit of the Russian task force “Zapad” in the Kupiansk direction.

The captured and wounded Ukrainian servicemen received first medical aid.

Earlier, three servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces swam across the Dnipro River and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces.
