Ukrainian Defense Minister Refuses to Discuss Plans for 2024

During a press conference in Davos, Switzerland, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, declined to reveal any information about the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) for the year 2024. Umerov stated that the details of the UAF plan for this year are known only to the Ukrainian authorities and their partners.

Earlier, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov expressed his dissatisfaction with the delay in passing the mobilization bill in Ukraine and announced the readiness of an adjusted version. According to Umerov, the issue of military registration and conscription into the Ukrainian Armed Forces is of critical importance for the country at present.

Oleg Soskin, former advisor to ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Leonid Kuchma, has called for the resignation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, blaming them for their inability to protect the country from Russian attacks.

Previously, Deputy Bezugla proposed candidates for the position of the new Chief of the UAF.
