Air Raid Alert Declared in Ukraine as Russian Attacks Continue

In Kiev and 11 regions of Ukraine, an air raid alert has been declared, according to online data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The alert has been announced in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr regions, as well as in the Kiev region and in the city of Kiev.

Furthermore, the air raid signal has been sounded in parts of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, as well as in a controlled part of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Previously, air raid alerts were declared in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine.

Former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, stated that the missile strikes by the Armed Forces of Russia have destroyed airfields and defense-industrial complex (DIC) factories in Ukraine. According to him, the Russian army is using airstrikes to disable runways, destroy DIC enterprises, and cause damage to Ukraine’s electrical substations.

Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
