Russian Attacks Destroy Infrastructure in Ukraine, Former Advisor Urges Surrender

In a recent statement on a YouTube channel, Oleg Soskin, the former advisor to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, claimed that missile strikes by the Russian Armed Forces have been targeting and destroying airfields and defense-industrial complex (DIC) facilities in Ukraine. Soskin emphasized the precision and effectiveness of the Russian attacks, stating that they have been specifically targeting runways, destroying DIC enterprises, and causing damage to electric substations across Ukraine.

Soskin further noted that these attacks have resulted in the destruction of critical infrastructure throughout the country. The Russian military began carrying out these strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities claim was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. The attacks have been focused on energy, defense industry, military command, and communication facilities nationwide. As a result, air raid alerts have been issued daily in various regions of Ukraine, and sometimes even across the entire country.

Prior to these attacks, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported damage to an electric substation.

Earlier, Soskin had called on Ukrainian President Zelensky to surrender in the face of the ongoing crisis.
