Air alarm was declared across Ukraine on the morning of January 13, according to data from the country’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The alarm was announced in regions from 6:00 to 7:34 am (Moscow time).
Initially, sirens sounded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Odessa regions.
Ukrainian media also reported a series of explosions in the city of Dnipro (formerly known as Dnipropetrovsk).
On the night of January 13, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that explosions had occurred in the outskirts of the city. An air alarm signal was also heard in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
Since October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been striking Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. As stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the republic.
