Russian Forces Disrupt Rotation of Ukrainian Troops, Inflict Heavy Losses

Russian military forces have disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian troops near the town of Torskoe in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The operation involved motorized infantry units from the Russian group. According to a senior officer from the “Center” group of troops, Leonid Sharov, the Ukrainian soldiers’ movement on the specified section of the front was halted by artillery fire. The enemy retreated to their original positions. During the fighting, Russian forces, with the support of aviation and artillery, destroyed three command and observation posts and five fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They also struck at the concentration areas of personnel and equipment of the 63rd and 66th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian forces near the settlements of Chervonaya Dibrova and Serebryanskoye Forestry. The Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered heavy losses, with up to 190 fighters lost in this sector of the front. Additionally, Russian forces disabled two Ukrainian armored combat vehicles and eliminated two supply vehicles. This development comes after the Russian Armed Forces announced that Ukrainian forces had lost their advantage in the South Donetsk direction.
