In a recent report by RIA Novosti, it has been revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin engages in conversations with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu multiple times a day. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian leader, confirmed this information.
According to Peskov, these discussions with the defense minister occur regularly throughout the day. He also found it peculiar that questions were raised about whether President Putin had discussed specific issues with Shoigu during a meeting with the widows of soldiers on Christmas.
During a gathering with residents of Anadyr, President Putin emphasized that all the financial needs of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine are being fully funded. He acknowledged that delays in disbursing payments to servicemen were due to bureaucratic glitches. The President requested participants in the operation to provide concrete examples of problems they have encountered, promising that the Ministry of Defense would address these issues.
Putin also expressed his intention to discuss improving communication with the families of soldiers who lost their lives in the conflict zone with Defense Minister Shoigu.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy disclosed the types of weaponry that could pose a threat to Russia’s security.
