President Putin Emphasizes Importance of Transport Accessibility for Military Operations

During a recent meeting with residents of Anadyr, President Vladimir Putin highlighted the significance of considering transport accessibility for participants of special military operations, particularly in terms of timely arrival to their duty stations, even when returning from vacation. The Kremlin’s press service provided coverage of the meeting.

The head of state stressed that there should be no disruptions in this regard. In the event of objective problems related to the transport scheme, which may prevent a serviceman from returning to their duty station, such issues should easily be resolved with the help of relevant documents.

President Putin further stated that the Ministry of Defense should develop a procedure for providing necessary documents regarding transport issues, ensuring that these matters are automatically addressed, rather than resorting to the suspension of payments to military personnel.

In the same meeting, Putin announced that servicemen who have previously been wounded will be allowed to continue their service.

Earlier, it was reported that on the eve of Christmas, Putin met with the families of military personnel who lost their lives in the course of special military operations at Novo-Ogarevo.
