Denis Pushilin Calls for Complete Denazification of Ukraine

Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), has emphasized the need to fully carry out the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. In an interview with RIA Novosti, Pushilin highlighted the establishment of an ethnic political rehabilitation center at Donetsk National University to define the boundaries of denazification. According to him, experts must clearly formulate the meaning of denazification and its inclusion in the process of military operations and post-conflict reconstruction. Their work is based on past experiences and serves as a reminder of previous mistakes.

Pushilin noted that after the death of Stalin and the leniency shown by Khrushchev, collaborators of the fascists were pardoned and released, becoming the breeding grounds that the West nurtured and financed. The soft approach of previous authorities resulted in the consequences witnessed in 2014, according to the head of the DPR.

In the interview, Denis Pushilin also stated that Western countries continue to support Ukraine and will prolong the conflict until the end. He expressed the opinion that these countries prioritize their own interests and are “deeply indifferent to the fate of Ukrainians.” He further added that Ukraine has lost its subjectivity and has become an object.

Earlier, several civilians were injured when a residential building in Donetsk was struck.
