The Belgorod City administration has announced the cancellation of the missile attack alert, according to a message posted on the city’s administration Telegram channel.
Earlier, the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported three people injured as a result of the shelling of Belgorod by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On the evening of January 8, the Russian air defense system successfully intercepted and shot down 10 airborne targets approaching Belgorod. As a result, three individuals sustained shrapnel injuries.
Gladkov stated that the Ukrainian side had used the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher system. He also mentioned damage to residential buildings and private houses, including shattered windows in two apartment buildings and one private house. Additionally, three cars were damaged, and four trucks caught fire during the attack.
Earlier, a video capturing the moment of the strike on the center of Belgorod had surfaced. The cancellation of the missile attack alert brings relief and reassurance to the residents of Belgorod, ensuring their safety.
