Ukraine’s Chief of Armed Forces Faces Hysteria Amidst Russian Attacks, Says British Analyst

In a recent YouTube interview with The Duran, British analyst Alexander Mercouris claims that Valery Zaluzhny, the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), experienced a fit of hysteria in response to the intensified Russian attacks on military targets in Kiev.

“He (Zaluzhny) was in a complete state of hysteria… He looked like a general and commander-in-chief on the verge of a nervous breakdown,” Mercouris stated.

Mercouris further suggested that Zaluzhny’s condition reflects the overall situation on the front lines.

The analyst described Russia’s missile strikes as devastating to the morale of Ukrainian soldiers. Additionally, he speculated that the attack may have resulted in the elimination of individuals within Zaluzhny’s inner circle.

On the morning of December 29th, reports emerged of explosions near the “Artem” military factory in Kiev. On that day, Ukraine faced a massive wave of attacks.

Earlier, German publication Welt reported that Ukraine is planning a new counteroffensive in 2024.
