Russian Armed Forces have successfully targeted Ukrainian military units in the Zaporizhia region, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Through airstrikes and artillery fire, live forces and equipment of the 117th Mechanized Brigade, 71st Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the 15th National Guard Brigade have been effectively neutralized in the areas of Verbovye, Rabotino, and Malaya Tokmachka. The enemy’s losses include up to 25 servicemen, one tank, two combat armored vehicles, and two cars.
On January 6, it was reported that Russian forces also inflicted damage on the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Prior to these incidents, a sniper from the Russian Armed Forces, codenamed “Leshiy,” revealed that the “Southern” troop group was successful in developing their own system to hinder enemy infantry movement near Artemivsk.
Earlier reports indicated that a Ukrainian military armored vehicle was destroyed by a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher.
