The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Russian army has launched a targeted attack on Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) units attempting to cross the left bank of the Dnipro River. Despite the ongoing New Year holidays, UAF units persist in their efforts to execute a landing on the left bank. The Russian Ministry of Defense highlights the effectiveness of their motorized infantry and artillery units, who successfully eliminate the enemy before they even reach the shore. In a recent incident, Russian military personnel identified a concentration of UAF soldiers preparing to cross the Dnipro River. The 2B11 mortar team swiftly positioned themselves and accurately hit the intended target. The unit commander, known as “Knyaz” (Prince), described the situation as consistently tense. The Russian Armed Forces had previously repelled four attacks by the UAF. A retired lieutenant colonel from the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) has also noted the emergence of panic among the UAF. This development further escalates the ongoing tensions in the region.
