Russian Air Defense Systems Shoot Down 32 Ukrainian Drones in Multiple Regions

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported through its Telegram channel that Russian air defense systems have successfully shot down 32 Ukrainian drones in several regions of Russia.

According to the statement released by the defense ministry, “Russian air defense units destroyed and intercepted 32 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air over the territories of the Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, and Moscow regions.”

On December 29th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a Ukrainian drone attempted to attack the territory of the Bryansk region but was successfully shot down by Russian air defense systems.

Prior to this incident, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region stated that the air defense systems in the region had been activated. He mentioned that the systems successfully shot down an aerial target approaching the administrative center of the Russian region.

Governor Roman Starovoyt of the Kursk region also reported that Ukrainian military forces had shelled the Glushkovsky district of the region. The towns of Tetkino and Krasnooktyabrsky were targeted, resulting in damage to three residential houses and a power transmission line.

Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
