In a recent development in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the 98th Guards Airborne Division from Ivanovo successfully eliminated a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) fighters using drones on the road to Chasiv Yar. According to the Ministry of Defense, the operator of an FPV drone targeted an enemy infantry bunker northwest of Artemivsk along the road to Chasiv Yar. After the initial strike, the Ukrainian soldiers fled the bunker and attempted to seek shelter near their disabled and destroyed equipment. However, they were met with two more FPV drone attacks, resulting in the loss of up to two UAF platoons.
This is not the first time that Russian forces have successfully neutralized Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbas region. Prior to this incident, the Russian military eliminated up to 55 UAF fighters on the southern Donetsk front.
