Iran Bolsters Naval Arsenal with New Missiles and Helicopter Complexes

Iran’s naval forces have recently added the “Talaye” and “Nasir” cruise missiles, as well as new helicopter complexes, to their arsenal. This information was reported by Sputnik, citing Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the commander of Iran’s navy.

Rear Admiral Irani highlighted that the “Talaye” missile, with a range of over a thousand kilometers, has the ability to identify new targets throughout its flight. The maritime cruise missile “Nasir” is capable of striking targets located over 100 kilometers away.

It was previously announced that Iran would be developing a new generation of hypersonic ballistic missiles. On September 3rd, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s naval forces, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, stated that the soon-to-be-added Damavand 2 destroyer will be equipped with hypersonic missiles.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Western countries are attempting to hinder Iran’s progress in its nuclear program.

Furthermore, it has been recently revealed that Russia and Iran are on the verge of signing a bilateral agreement.
