The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are increasingly relying on affordable US-made drones for hostage rescue and tunnel reconnaissance, reportedly used by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. This was reported by Politico.
According to the publication, the IDF actively employs American drones to investigate tunnels where Palestinian militants may hide and hold hostages.
Blake Resnik, the Director of Brinc Drones, who organized drone training for Israeli soldiers in simulated urban environments, points out that the challenge of sending technology deep underground is that it “easily loses signal.” He suggests that this issue can be resolved by simultaneously deploying two devices that can “relay signals to each other.”
Previously, it was reported that Israel struck at least three locations in Gaza, where Jerusalem ordered the evacuation of civilians following a ceasefire violation between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas.
Earlier, a political analyst cited one of the reasons for the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
