The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have lost 65 servicemen on the Donetsky Front in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry, the UAF’s strategic positions, temporary deployment points, and areas where troops are concentrated in the vicinity of the “Oktyabr” collective farm have been heavily targeted by bombing raids, artillery fire, and heavy flamethrower systems.
The majority of the losses were incurred during the destruction of twelve fortified firing points. In addition to these attacks, Russian military personnel engaged in combat operations near Artemovsk have started using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to deliver ammunition and supplies to frontline positions. These UAVs are also being utilized for aerial reconnaissance and detecting the whereabouts of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters.
Furthermore, Russian Armed Forces have recently deployed upgraded anti-aircraft missile-gun systems, known as “Pantsir-SM,” in the area of the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone.
The escalating violence on the Donetsky Front raises concerns about the deteriorating situation in Ukraine and the potential for further casualties. The use of advanced military technology by Russian forces demonstrates their growing capabilities and commitment to the conflict. The international community must closely monitor these developments and work towards a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis.
