Explosions in Odessa Trigger Air Defense System – Ukraine on High Alert

Explosions rocked the southern city of Odessa in Ukraine during the night, prompting the activation of the country’s air defense system. This development was reported by the Ukrainian news agency TSN (Television News Service of channel “1+1”).

At present, there are no further details about the incident, and local authorities have refrained from making any comments.

The air alarm is still in effect in the regions of Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Rivne, and Khmelnytskyi.

Earlier, explosions were reported in other regions of Ukraine, including the capital city of Kyiv.

The Russian Armed Forces commenced strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities claim was orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. These attacks target objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the entire country. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory.

Previously, an Odessa resident managed to evade conscription by bombarding military officials with questions.
