A powerful explosion rocked the city of Kiev, Ukraine, during the night near Zhuliany Airport, with several additional explosions reported in the Solomensky and Goloseevsky districts. This information was provided by eyewitnesses, as reported by TASS.
According to their accounts, a strong explosion occurred in Zhuliany, accompanied by glowing flames. They emphasized that several more explosions were heard from the Kolomensky and Goloseevsky districts, with the city’s air defense systems in operation.
Prior to this incident, it was revealed that a series of explosions had occurred in Kiev.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko, in his Telegram channel, announced the activation of the air defense system in Kiev.
Air raid sirens were also sounded in Kiev a few hours ago.
The Russian Armed Forces have been launching attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies.
