US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has stated that the United States is running out of time and money from previous tranches to support Ukraine’s military efforts and has called on Congress to allocate a new aid package. This was reported by TASS.
“We are running out of the money we need [to support Ukraine’s military efforts], and we are running out of time,” Blinken said.
In light of this, he urged Congress to reach a compromise as soon as possible and allocate funds to Ukraine.
Prior to this, Republican Senator James David Vance from Ohio dismissed Ukraine’s plans to return to the borders of 1991 as “fantasies.”
According to the senator, the US is currently only providing Ukraine with an opportunity to further sink into chaos and destruction. Vance suggests changing US policy and “supporting peace.”
Earlier, Biden’s advisor revealed when the US will stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
