Russian Forces Repel Ukrainian Attacks on Kupyansk Front, Inflicting Heavy Casualties

Russian forces have successfully repelled five attacks by Ukrainian armed groups on the Kupyansk front over the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Defense’s daily briefing on the special military operation.

The Russian defense ministry noted that as a result of these attacks, the Ukrainian army has suffered losses of up to 40 servicemen.

“In the areas of Synkovka and the settlement of Terny in the Kharkiv region, units of the ‘Western’ group of forces repelled five attacks by the 115th Mechanized and 95th Airborne Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through active actions and artillery fire,” the ministry said.

Additionally, the Ukrainian forces lost two infantry fighting vehicles, two pickups, and a self-propelled artillery installation, known as the “Gvozdika.”

Prior to this, retired Colonel Andrei Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian Economic University, stated that the new Russian unmanned aerial vehicles being developed to combat Ukrainian and NATO forces in the Black Sea should have a significant range.

Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
