Ukrainian Forces Lose Armored Vehicles and Personnel in Attack near Artemivsk

During an attempted push to regain positions west of Artemivsk, Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) suffered losses of two infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) and up to 30 personnel. This information was reported by Jan Hahin, an advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), to TASS.

According to Hahin, on December 19th, the enemy decided to launch an attack west of Artemivsk. However, the Ukrainian soldiers were forced to withdraw their personnel from that area due to retaliatory fire.

Prior to this incident, reports surfaced about the deteriorating morale among the UAF as winter approached. Ukrainian fighters mainly complained about the lack of resources for training drone operators and repairing vehicles within tight deadlines.

Meanwhile, UAF drones operate at altitudes of up to 500 meters, making them inferior to the more long-range Russian drones with better software that can reach heights of up to two thousand meters and evade electronic warfare systems.

Earlier, a German journalist criticized the inefficiency of Western weapons on the side of the UAF.
