Russian military forces have successfully repelled multiple attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry stated that the forces of the “Center” group of troops repelled five attacks by the 24th and 116th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Chervonaya Dibrova and Petrovskoe in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian army suffered up to 185 casualties, including the loss of two infantry fighting vehicles and three vehicles.
Prior to this, the Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Ivan Havryliuk, announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces intend to increase the production of barrage ammunition due to a shortage of shells.
On December 19th, Yan Hahin, an advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, stated that Ukrainian forces had abandoned several positions on the front line in the area of Novomykhailivka.
Earlier, the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
