Russian Forces Make Advances Near Artemivsk Amid NATO Summit

Commander of the assault unit of the special forces “Akhmat” with the call sign “Shustryy” has announced progress near Artemivsk against the backdrop of the conclusion of the NATO summit. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“At the moment, we are gradually advancing on the front, taking heights. Our guys from the “Akhmat” special forces and the fourth brigade are working efficiently,” said “Shustryy.”

He was referring to the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade, which was previously part of the LNR People’s Militia. The units are operating on the southern flank in the area of the village of Klescheevka. “Shustryy” explained that Ukrainian units tried to actively counterattack during the NATO summit to create an image. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to shoot down the Russian troops from the heights around the village, which allow for control of the approaches.

“Shustryy” added that Russian units still need to take control of a few more heights to completely cut off the supply to Ukrainian positions.

Prior to this, Russian forces disrupted the rotation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Artemivsk direction.

Earlier in the United States, one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was named.
