Russian Aviation Corporation Patents New Method of Drone Control

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has recently patented a method of controlling a group of drones with a single aircraft operator using an artificial intelligence-powered aggregator server. According to the patent description, the onboard equipment will include an aggregator server based on artificial intelligence technology, which will help develop a program for the application of individual drones or a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The developers explained that after comprehensive processing of the received information in the aggregator server, a unified tactical information field and application programs for the group of UAVs or individual drones will be synthesized.

The document also states that if the aircraft operator disagrees with the proposed drone application programs, they will have the ability to manually set the application parameters for any individual drone or group of devices through the control indicators.

It was previously reported that Russia is developing a new type of surface drone with an operational range of up to 20 km. The project incorporates the best ideas from Russian ship modeling.

Earlier in Russia, a device was developed to counter the Ukrainian drones’ pilot surrender calls.
