The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the self-propelled artillery units “Hyacinth-S” from the “West” troop group have successfully destroyed a Ukrainian military position and equipment on the Kupyansk direction as part of a special military operation (SMO). This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
The senior gunner of the “Hyacinth-S” self-propelled artillery system, known by the call sign “Volyna,” revealed that the primary targets were enemy equipment, tanks, artillery, and strongholds. Recently, an enemy stronghold and a Polish self-propelled artillery unit, Krab, were successfully hit.
The crews demonstrated high coordination and professionalism, emphasized the gunner.
Representatives of the defense ministry noted that the combat tasks are carried out in any weather conditions. The tactic of a 24/7 artillery carousel confuses the enemy, forcing them to use more ammunition and reveal their concealed firing positions.
Yesterday, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 60 soldiers on the Kupyansk direction. In addition to the human losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost three infantry fighting vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, and the self-propelled artillery unit “Gvozdika.”
Earlier, Deputy Bezuhla suggested candidates for the position of the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
