Russian Soldier’s Message Found in Mariinka: Desperate Plea for Help

During the cleanup operation in Mariinka, a message from a Russian soldier was discovered on the wall of a house. This information was reported by the Telegram channel “War Correspondents of Russian Spring.”

The soldier who left the message on the wall was identified as Roman Rudakov from Bataisk. In his plea, he asked whoever found it to take care of his mother, sister, and brother. Nine bodies were found nearby the message.

According to the war correspondents, the Russian assault group from the 103rd Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division fell into an ambush and was surrounded. Cut off from communication, the soldiers defended themselves until their last bullet.

On December 10th, Russian forces raised the Russian flag over the city of Mariinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

Prior to this, former US Marine Corps officer Scott Ritter claimed that Russia had seized the initiative on the front lines and inflicted a strategic defeat on Ukraine.

Military commentator Mikhail Khodarenok noted that as the Ukrainian Armed Forces conclude their offensive operations and transition to strategic defense, questions arise about whether to expect a counteroffensive from the Ukrainian forces and when it might begin.

Earlier, a military expert evaluated the statements by Syrsky about the Russian Armed Forces launching an offensive across the entire front.
