The spokesperson for the “Center” group, Alexander Savchuk, has announced that Russian military forces have successfully destroyed over 250 Ukrainian soldiers in the Krasnolimansk area. This news comes from RIA Novosti.
Savchuk stated that airstrikes were carried out on the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as their command and observation post and ammunition storage facility. The strikes resulted in the destruction of two tanks, two vehicles, and a “Msta-B” howitzer.
Previously, it was reported that the forces of the “Center” group, with the support of aviation and artillery fire, repelled 11 attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk area over the course of a week. The enemy’s losses amounted to approximately 1,100 servicemen. In addition to personnel losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost four tanks, three armored vehicles, 17 vehicles, and two artillery pieces.
Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance and attack helicopters Ka-52 destroyed hidden positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk area. The Ministry of Defense reported that Russian pilots fly at extremely low altitudes and maneuver around the terrain when approaching the combat zone. Thanks to this tactic, Ukrainian air defense systems are unable to detect Russian aircraft.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of an assembly and repair workshop for unmanned aerial vehicles by Russian forces, as well as the destruction of three ammunition depots.
