Moscow, December 16 – Ukrainian drones have reportedly launched attacks on the Dmitrievsky and Zheleznogorsky districts of the Kursk region, according to a statement by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, on his Telegram channel. Starovoit wrote, “Ukrainian drones have attacked the Dmitrievsky and Zheleznogorsky districts. Fortunately, there have been no casualties.” He added that three strikes were recorded in the village of Krupets in the Dmitrievsky district. Preliminary information suggests that eight houses suffered damages to their fences, windows, and roofs. The railway station area in the city of Dmitrieva was also affected, with the compressor station sustaining damage. Starovoit clarified that assessments are ongoing, and the district head is present at the scene of the incident. Additionally, in the Zheleznogorsky district, the Ukrainian drones damaged a power transmission line supplying one of the facilities at the Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant. Emergency crews have been dispatched to the location to address the consequences.
