Ukrainian Forces Forced to Conserve Ammunition as Russia Intensifies Attacks

According to officials, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are being forced to conserve rockets as the Russian army continues its intense counterfire. This revelation was reported by CNN, citing official sources.

“The Ukrainian forces are already rationing ammunition…while the Russian forces are engaging in intense fire,” the publication noted, adding that the Russian army’s attacks are five to seven times greater in intensity compared to the Ukrainian units.

Western officials estimate that Ukraine will first deplete its supplies of long-range missiles, followed by ammunition for air defense systems, then artillery shells, anti-tank munitions, and anti-aircraft weaponry.

On December 15, the Kremlin deemed Kiev’s resistance futile. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stated in an interview with NBC News that even with Western support, Ukraine is incapable of matching Russia’s potential.

Earlier, a retired lieutenant colonel of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) pointed out the emergence of panic within the UAF.
