Beton Concrete Plant Damaged in Mariupol: Significant Blow to City’s Restoration Efforts

In a recent development, the Beton Concrete Plant in Mariupol has suffered significant damage. This was reported by Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement and a member of the administration of the Zaporizhia region, through his Telegram channel.

Photographs from local Telegram channels have provided evidence of a severe fire in the outskirts of Mariupol.

According to the official, the plant was targeted due to its crucial role in the city’s restoration efforts.

Prior to this incident, half of Donetsk and Mariupol were left without electricity after the arrival of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The following day, the Ministry of Coal and Energy of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) announced that a heavy snowfall and blizzard had left half a million residents of the republic without power.

It is reported that in the evening of November 26, 20,500 people were without electricity, and by the morning of November 27, more than 40 high-voltage substations, 19 overhead power lines of 110 kV, and 18 power lines of 35 kV were left without power in the territory of the DPR, affecting 525,000 people. Approximately one hundred emergency restoration brigades and 54 units of special equipment were involved in the restoration of the power grid.

Earlier, threats were made to Russia in President Zelensky’s office regarding the explosions in Ukraine.
