President Putin Rejects the Need for Further Mobilization in Russia

In a recent statement, President Vladimir Putin of Russia declared that there is no need for another mobilization in the country. Currently, there are 244,000 mobilized individuals in the special operations zone in Ukraine.

“At the beginning of the mobilization, there was much irony surrounding the call, but the mobilized individuals fight excellently,” emphasized the president.

Recently, a proposal was made in the State Duma for Russian labor collectives to donate their daily earnings to support participants in the special military operation in Ukraine by the New Year. The idea was voiced by Vitaly Milonov, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection.

On December 12, the State Duma passed a law allowing conscripts to serve in the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service. Additionally, voluntary formations within the National Guard, including during mobilization, periods of martial law, wartime, armed conflicts, and counter-terrorism operations, will be utilized to support the tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of Russia. Individuals will have the opportunity to join these formations upon signing the corresponding contract.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine is considering making the mobilization of women mandatory.
